This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Fluids with alpha channel

hey all

alan (pure morning) i hope u may know the ans to this - it is u who is a td at CFC?
or any one else who knows, but fluids is a rare topic on these forums

i want to composite a flame onto a pic at first for testing then onto a video

i have made my fire and rendered with alpha channel in software

i take this into PS and i get 1 of 2 things happening hen i try to select the alpha channel to leave the flame
1) it says no pixels were more than 50% and it doens nothing
or
2)it just does like 2 pixes which is no good

any ideas
