Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Viewport Problem

Hi,

When I changed unit setting to 'inch' from default setting 'centimeter' and changed grid setting of length & width to 240 units, I get a strange result.

I've attached the screenshots of the problem.

You'll notice that as I zoom out, it will start cutting off the visibility of the grid and the object, and eventually they will completely disappear.
Any idea guys?

Thanks.

It simply means that the camera can't see to the end of the grid.

This is a camera setting , you need to select the camera and hot ctrl + A in the attribute editor change the far clipping plane to something higher like 10000,000.
