Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Help when selecting

Hey... when i go to select some vertexs it selects all the other stuff i go over... unless i switch the mode to ploygons... like so...

Under Window go to Setting/Preferences and check the Preferences, in the Catergories box highlight Selection and turn off the ignore selection priority modifier(this should be off by default).
