Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

hi

in the simply maya santa tut i cant deform his hat like the tutors. this is because although i have the same amount of isopalms on the hat, there are far to may control points. its really bugging me. anyway to keep the no of isopalms and lower the control points? take a look at the file

cheers

surely it doesn't matter how many points you have on the hat, you can still just grab them and rotate in a similar way to the video.

*You can attach Maya files in almost any format you want... just like you attach a picture
*Maya sometimes does things that make perfect sense code wise, but are not what the user intended to make and are impossible to understand... If your hat gets too messy try building it over again.
