moving from the middle

Hello,

Can somebody help me plz,
I have a bit of a problem.

If i am working with maya, and created a polygon, and combine them to 1 part, the distance to the object, and the drawing arrows, is huge, see image:

I want the 3 draw arrows, that can move the object, back in the middle of the object. not far away from it.

Can please someone tell me how i can put it back in the middle?

Thankyou,

Yasuni

Or if you want the pivot to be another place, you can move it by simply pressing the "insert" button while in movetool =).
