Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

it's not looking too bad. the hair is definitely beginning to work.

i must admit that there are still a couple of issues with the proportions that bother me. i also think the face texture could do with a bit more variation / color, especially around the ears and nose.

I have to agree with Arran on the proportions.

The bottom of the face seems too Thick/Chubby/broad, and not in a Puppy fat kinda way, that you would expect to see on a kid, but more of a Mature Fat guy way!.....If you get what i mean.

The skin texture looks good, though as mentioned, it need a bit more variation.

The eyes seem pretty solid, as does the modeling. Except maybe the eyes could be slightly more glossy.

The hair is Brill... no crits from me on that user added image

Very nice work!

the hair could use some specularity.

baby hair is greasy fatty and looks and feels very light.

Nice to see your progress man

Hey Guys, thank you so much for the comments. I personally think they eyes are slightly too big and the face is a bit too wide as well, but I dont have the energy to keep on tweaking the face for now. I will try to build more of the torso though, at least with a shirt or something.

I will be changing the hair style and it will cover the ears and side of the face, that may help in coverring some of the color issues of the texture around the ear and even some of the wideness of the model. We'll have to see. I'll post another update once I have something worth showing... user added image

Cheers all.
