Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

love the jukebox, Nice lighting!

I would make the wall and floor a bit more bumpy, and more specularity. at the moment it looks very flat.

This looks really great jsprogg. Whatever happened to 5 cent hotdogs anyway?

Thanks guys.. glad you like it .

Aiko you have a good eye, this is an old file and I moved the bump and spec files for the floor and couldn't be bothered to find them so there is no bump or spec .
I wasn't really worried since the the background is just to make the render more interesting and it's the Jukebox model I will be saving.

The lighting incidently is Image base lighting for the overall lighting with some FG and then there are linked point lights for the inside lighting and a couple of point lights that are linked to the external bubble lights.
It was a bitch to render and took 23 minutes.

Thanks Tick,
if I remember right we had to model a household object as photoreal as possible.
Ajukebox is not really a houshold object unless you live in my house ..hehe but it should be Law. user added image

Nice modeling and render.

My crits would be that, apply a bump map to the back wall to give it that grout feeling in between the bricks. And also that, the lighting could have been a bit better. With something like this, its really good to try bring out that wood texture in the jukebox to show it off.
