Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Edit mesh

I have made a polygon, but I can´t edit it lwith cut faces tool or split polygon tool, what´s wrong. It worked yesterday, but suddenly it just stopped. Even if I restart or make a new project it won´t work??

Please help..

do you have it set to reference on a separate a layer perhaps?

can you do anything else to it? does it happen in other projects /scenes?

Not on a separat reference layer, and it´s on all scenes/projects

you might want to try deleting your user prefs folder under your maya directory. maybe that will help.
