This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Not bad user added image but the image compression is taking away from it. Hopefully you didn't save it as a jpeg straight from Maya, it'll give you pretty poor quality. One thing that is confusing me though, the pattern the blinds make isn't showing up on the floor.

yes i did save it as a jpeg straight from maya. and i was wondering the same thing about the blinds. it may be the image compression though.

i think it's showing but it's just really similar to the break in the boards on the floor so it doesn't really pop out at you... try rotating the floor texture 90 degrees and see what it does for the shadow *shrug*

definitely has a sunset feel to it, although the low camera angle is just a little disorienting... also since the shadow from the blinds takes up the whole wall it doesn't really remind me of blinds anymore, more like a slatted wall.
