Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Spas 12

Hi,

here's a spas 12 pump action shotgun I've been working on for the last 2 days. Just got to finish the stock and can start on materials.

Crits welcome.

cheers

This looks great! I really like the pump... well detailed.

Looking forward to seeing the final.

it looks like there is a LOT of unnecessary geometry but the model looks great.
Keep it up.

Thanks Mayaniac and alexander H,

I will post more later once the stock is done.

Alexander H, would you care to elaborate on the unnecessary geometry? The only place I can afford to lose loops are on the barrel... possibly a couple on the mid-body part. Apart from that they are all there to create holes and edges, though I am open to suggestions.

cheers
