I liked the intro part that was quite catchy.

Not too sure about the second part, it didnt quite gel together, maybe have a look at changing some chords in that key and see if you can get that bit "darker" if you know what I mean

you mean the chorus type part or the other part that would be like, behind a solo?

It's pretty good.
I agree with Gster though, That second chorusy part dosnt flow together as well as the start. Just keep working at it though.
How long have you been playing for? I started about 2 years ago and have been playing constantly.

ah, that part, i get what you mean, it's really hard for me to come up with anything good, i havent learned any scales yet or anything like that, hell i only know like 6 chords :p

i started playing december last year when i got a guitar for christmas, ever since it's been about 6 hours a day on average, until recently, last 2 months or so i've had too much on my mind to play, even though from everything i hear and all my experiances i know that when i have a lot on my mind i should be playing...

Have a look at the chords that your playing and then look up chord keys and see whay key your in (say you play G, C, D you in the key of G) then see what you can link to so if your in G and you want to change key you can play Am (which is in G and then play Em and F, which changes the key to C (if I remember rightly) then go back to the start chrod progression to change key again.

Though I think that what I just said is actually a key already??... Em I think..??

Been a while since I sat down and played actually thinking about what I was doing.

Hope that makes some sense.

But yeah, just experiment around untill you find something that sounds good. Another idea is to get some kinda drumbox program. I found that helped me out because it gave some sort of backup for me to muck around with.

^i actually really like that song, you should record it again with better quality

i use FL studio sometimes for drum loops and such, but that's hard too :p

that's basically what i've been doin, just effing around till i find a 3 or 4 chord progression that sounds cool, then try a few variants of it, mess around some more, ect. but im just not a creative person at all, i cant even model without blueprints lol

@gster - made sense to me, i was gonna start looking into keys and stuff but there's like, so much else i should probably learn first like scales, and a few more chords, just tp start :p

anyone else notice that it sounds really challenging to play guitar? lol
