Well as far as I know I have seen the both of those movies and several similar ones - but don't ask me which is which.

OOO I think I might be remembering... was Mission to Mars the one that was meant to be a comedy? With those furry 'cute' aliens that suddenly get all angry and jump around with spikey teeth. And with Tim Allen in it?

(I'm probably mixing together a few different movies in my head)

Mission to mars is the one with the face on mars that turns out to be a hanger for an alien space ship, remember first manned mission to mars went wrong so they send in these guys on a rescue mission, they find a survivor who shows um the face on mars.
