Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

outliner, hypershade, etc...act wierd in XP?

Hi all,

I'm using 4.5 and Windows XP, and every time I have an outliner or hypershade window minimized, when I try to open it, it just stays the little title bar, and doesn't open. You have to actually drag the window open by resizing it.

anyone know how to fix this, or the cause?
I'm also using a GeForce 4 Ti4200, not sure if it matters

thanks

Oh yeah, also no text shows up on my shaders in Hypershade, or images for what they look like.

Sounds like a video driver problem. Got that latest installed? And XP? Shame user added image

Yeah, that's an XP thing. Not that big a deal, if you ask me.

Yeah, no big deal, just kind of annoying with multiple windows open.

It is a little difficult for me though with hypershade, because I can't see the textures or their names. With a bunch of textures it's like a guessing game.

I don't think I have the newest drivers though, I'll check

thanks guys
