This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
I just created an eye with eye lids. I placed a lattice around it to deform it soI can rotate the eye and lids to keep the flat shape I want. I may have done this in the wrong order but I need to create another eye. I created fancy eye lashes on the original and would hate to go through all that work of creating it on the other eye. My question is can an eye with a lattice be copied and mirrored to created another eye and work the same as the original? Been trying to copy it but the new eye's deformer will not allow me to move it like the original.
Your idea works except when I try to move or rotate the object goes in the opposite direction. For example, when I have the rotate tool on and rotate the eyeball down it goes up. I rotate left the eye goes right. Is there a way to fix this issue? Don't know how it will react with a contoller for both eyes.
Hi radiant777
Do you want the two eyes doing the same thing at the same time if so group the eye first then create a instance that I think should work...................dave
