Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Showing off Maya's Dynamics??

I need to shut up this guy at another forum that is arguing with me that MAX has better dynamics system so we both are supposed to make something from the dynamics system (a little animation or something)

so what do you think is a good show off effect that will show him what's the power of maya? it doesnt even have to be fancy..just something that proves my points

thanks!

RE: showing off Maya's Dynamics??

Hello Emo,

I have worked with maya for some years. I just did a thing with the cloth function, but I must say that I never could have done something like that in such short time with Max.
I see max have it advantaces but Maya as well. My oppinion is that Maya is more user friendly than max. But after all it's just you need to think like the program thinks. Both are close together but approaches problem each in a different way.

Well, download my VFX tutorial series, and you can make KICK ASS dynamic explosions without plugins easilyuser added image

There's really no "BETTER" 3d app, it just depends what you want to do.

I'll have the final composite of my explosion movie uploaded for public viewing in the next few days, so download that when I get it online, and I think that will wow himuser added image
