This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Beretta 92 FS

For my portfolio I want a model of weapon and maybe animated exploded view of the gun. So i started modeling the Beretta 92. This is what i got so far.

That looks nice Johndoe050, the only thing that is a little off is the trigger guard could do with some bevels to take of the edges...........dave

Thats pretty damn good mate!! I agree with dave..some bevels and maybe just a couple of extra loops on the gard and tweak it to a slight rounder shape......well done man. With the textured one...it might be my screen but I reckon the lighting is 'flat' and the details are quite dark, Im no expert here so I will leave it at that.
