Hello. I spent about 10 min on a walk cycle. Its actually more of a trot. THought I would as for your sugestions. This is the first time I have done character animation in about a year, need to start getting back into it. Thanks for your time,
Brian
Omg... outstanding! This is from craigs tutorial, right? (haven't had to time to watch it yet)
I was just wondering should it walk a little different... Now it's lifting both front and back feet on the same side simultaneously. Dunno... I don't have any idea how dogs walk in real life
Yep, the model. is from Craigs Tutorial. Its definetly worth the Points to take a look at it. I agree about the walk cycle, I went off of the "how to animate a quadraped in 2 min" video tutorial off of CG Channel. So... I did it the way the tutorial said to, but its a little off compared to a dog, oh well, I am working on it now, i will post an update when I get a chance. Thanks,
Brian
That avi helped out alot. Thanks for pointing that out... Umm.. here is an update let me know what you think. I am having a problem with the back legs, the seem to go to high when I make him walk, but if you look at it, I didn't make the feet lift off of the ground that much at all, when I lift off the feet alot, then the knees go really high. any sugestions would be appreciated. Then again, let me know if you think it looks ok the way that it is. THanks,
Brian
Umm.. I think the only way that I can do the walk cycle is if he bobs up and down like that, Here is the side view, if he doesn't bob up and down, the knees start flipping around and stuff. I know I can move the handle around and stuff, thought that this gives it character anyways, Thanks,
Be
Thanks for the replies, the ball animation is not really walk cycle related, he throws down a wall and jumps on top of this ball, Umm... Its sorenson, and it runs on QT. SO, are you opening it with quicktime, if so, do you have the compressor, or latest version of QT? THnaks,
Brian
