Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

what happen? my mesh went down after i bind, save, exit, then re open the file

newbie to maya,..

user added image

the mesh is referenced,
when binding the mesh, this didnt happen, it happen when i quit maya, then reopen the file,...

am on maya2011x64

Im thinking It could be a parenting issue Do you use incremental save ?

i didnt use increment save,.. user added image

how to avoid this problem?,..

it happen to me on the other model too,..

i did unparrent all mesh, still happening, after i quit maya then re-open the file user added image

This happens to me EVERY time when I use nCloth and debind it from its history...only solution I have found is delete the offending faces by selecting>deleting them..

Maybe you could select faces then move them up.
