This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
This great project by director Michael Cawood and a global team of online collaborators has been running since 2006 and the film's just been completed.
Hundreds of volunteers have worked on this short made in Maya, the development diary and youtube channel have lots of information for anyone interested in the making of a CG short and how to find collaborators online.
They're also running two crowdfunding campaigns at the moment, one on IndieGoGo to promote the film at festivals and one on Kickstarter to create an art of e-book about the various stages of production.
This is a great project I'm happy to see it completed.
Nice job to everyone involved.

Cool, they finally finished it. O.o
It was funny X)) Loled at Cupid being an old timer!
But jaw dropped seeing that it took from 2006 till now to complete about 8 minutes of video. O.o Makes me wonder how do people make CGI series for TV.
