light linker broken?

area light + lightshape On + visible checked.
I have some materials (mia_material_x) in the scene which I want to disconnect from that area light. it partially works. the materials arenĀ“t lit anymore, but the lightShape is still visible as a reflection!
what I tried:
Unlinked Arealight from materials and Shader
Emit Specular > unchecked (no effect)
No Highlights For Visible Area Lights > checked (no effect)
Is there a way to avoid rendering different passes? maybe reflection linking..?
