Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.
and direct link to animation on vimeo (https://vimeo.com/70039214). Unfortunately it's not on my account, so I can't embed it here, but I think it's worth the extra click to watch
I'd be happy to answer questions and get feedback etc.
I suppose I could post a still or two in the finished work forum.
I didn't watch this before, it's really interesting and it looks great. And big congratulations on finishing your masters. So what happens now, are you out job hunting as a medical animator?
Thanks Nilla! I've got a job; I'll be working at the University of Toronto in collaboration with Harvard on a project about molecular visualization in science education. I'll be starting that soon, but right now I'm just taking a bit of time off, relaxing
Sounds like a great opportunity, so congrats to that as well. Since you're all relaxing and stuff, can I write down some questions for you about the study experience? And no worries if you're not up for it, just curious about it really and there's so little info online about medical animation compared to say film.
