Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Eyes Rigging problem (moving pivot)

Hello everyone

I'm having problems rigging a character's eyes. The eye balls are bound to the head bone and they move normally when the head is twisted. Now I am trying to make the eyeballs controllable, I tired both with an aim constraint or by connecting the rotation of a shape to the rotation of the eyeballs, the eyes move normally when the character faces the front, but if I turn her head and then try moving her eyes then the pivot seems to remain at the front position and so the rotation is around that point and the eyeballs end up outside the head.

I have tried clearing the eyes' history and centering the pivot but this keeps happening?

I'd really appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Now that I have to add some extra details in Mudbox, I can´t get the same results whatsoever! It´s the same meshes, the same files, same UVs, SAME EVERYTHING... except for the baking settings! And I can't remember the settings I used the last time.
