nudge selection of vertices?

nudge selection of vertices?

maya - can you move vertices a step at a time? like in illustrator,it is a simple matter of using arrow keys.

I suppose I can use a smaller grid and just snap to this grid - but would like to make a hotkey to do this somehow.

I am so used to just moving objects in photoshop and illustrator this way....

no rush just something I can't find by googling.

Alt+Arrows will allow u to nudge one pixel at a time.

Just keep in mind while in the perspective vies u will nudge x,y,z all at the same time so try to nudge in the orthographic views.
