This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Bubbles and froth

Hi All - I'm a newbie to MAYA. I've just finished off modelling a can with a glass of beer next to it. To really finish off my render I'd like to add bubbles in the beer and froth on the top - any suggestions? (this is only for a static render)

Many thanks in advance user added image

Maybe adding a texture if you know how to do that.

Thank you - I think I'm going to experiment with particles for the bubbles. Will tackle the froth at a later stage as I want it to look realistic.

There are some paintfx surface bubbles brushes in the visor under water meshes, if you need to render in mental ray you will need to convert them to poligons and change the shader...............dave

Thanks for your suggestion Dave - I'm still having problems with the bubbles and froth, but have uploaded my project as it stands so far. Will hopefully get to the bottom of this! (Glug Glug). user added image
