This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
Hello,
I am new to the site and the forums. I tried getting help in the autodesk forum with no luck. I have been trying to figure out how to model this bathtub with no success. It is an odd shape, the base is square and the tub is round. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Create a Sphere turn over 90% delete top half then extract half of the Sphere, move over a little and scale one half out. Next combine the two half and bridge the gap then in front view select the bottom faces and extrude down then scale flat...........................dave
So I've created the bowl from a cube that I smoothed, extracted half and then bridged. I am ready to extrude the base, however I am trying to get it to be the right size and adding edge loops seems to distort the mesh.
Thank you Dave!
One last question, is there a way to make the edges of the base a little sharper? I am running into problems with the bevel tool and insert edge loop.
