Separating a Polygon into pieces

Hi,

Can anyone help me please... I have made a Cubic Polygon with 20 subdivisions. now I want to separate all the subdivision from each other so that I will be left with 20 Rectangular polygon.

1. select all the edges
2. press shft+rt_mouse_button and select detach components

I would suggest just cutting the script message and pasting it into the thread along with a description of what you are trying to do.

Is this specifically a script you are writing that is failing or is this coming up when you try to open a scene file (.mb or .ma)?
