Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Is it possible to Detach/Undock the MEL Command line?

I'm using Maya 16 and want to undock the command line and reposition it to a second monitor. Is it possible to undock it allowing it to become an independent window like the Outliner or Hypergraph?

It is possible to reposition it, embedding it within the UI, but I can't seem to release it fully.

Thanks for your user added image !

In Maya 16 go to WINDOWS - GENERAL EDITORS - SCRIPT EDITOR

In this window, you will have the option to run the MEL or Python in an undocked window.

You can just click the little {;} icon at the bottom right side of the interface.
