Hey guys, recently joined here and hoping to exchange more information in the future!
Case:
I have the following problem. When I move an object behind an axis it simply becomes invisible to the viewport (front view). How can I show objects that are translated into negative areas (negative z-values)? My goal is to use the 3d object as some kind of reference picture on the front view here.
First screen is showing the object in front of the z axis. Second screen behind + hidden in front view. How can I make it visible no matter where the object is?
Hey there, thanks. But that does not fix the issue. You just gave me a basic camera movement trick. But I want to translate the camera itself. Just like i can translate and rotate shapes etc. But the basic ones like front, top and side view are kinda "locked".
I was trying to help you with not being able to see your mesh in front view not change a camera, if you want to change a camera rotation (they are locked for a reason) it is better to create a new camera then change that..............dave
Thanks so far. Thats a workaround. But why are the objects disappearing when I zoom to them. They are visible when the camera translates to it with the F-key but poof in front, side and top view when that camera translation is finished.
