This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
I noticed that when we use alpha pngs for trees and bushes , render time increases, i used
arnold & mental ray , am i missing something, can anyone help me with this.
Are you using them in a "cut out opacity" channel or in a typical transparency/refractive channel? I recall reading that Arnold (understandably) takes a performance hit if you use the latter.
