This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Hey, i dont know much about animating in MAYA, but whati can say is that for water, unless you can get it to loop properly, you could make it so half way through the water ripple, you can rewind it back to the first frame, then it will repeat. I know this isnt a good way to do it, butmaybe temporary .
"I should call you sugar maple tree cause i'd totally tap that" haha
A: Make sure you have enough geometry to deform. Then tweak the turbulence field settings. Magnitude and frequency would be the ones to start with. Try the others too.
B: Not that easy. Turbulence field is pseudo random so you never know when it's gonna be the same than in the first frame for example. M's suggestion might work...
I think what you did is great ( although the water looks a bit odd, but it works , for real) . I'm even new to Maya, so whatever to me is also a wonder of wonders, I do need your help, Thak you very much indeed!!!
