rendered avi file won't open
my animation (camera moves) just finished rendering, but now that I'm trying to pull it into aftereffects to composite it, it won't open. Gives an error.
I tried opening it in just Windows Media player/ Winamp too, but it gives a file format error. Which shouldn't happen since its just an avi file.
these are the files that were created after the render
1) final_optimized.avi
2) final_optimized_cameraShape1.tmp.avi
I can understand if it doesnt play in winamp since its not compressed, but why can't I even pull it into Aftereffects?

but does it always generate 2 files like that?
I'm trying rendering it again as a targa sequence
