Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Baseball oger Almost finished

Cant find the original thread...But have his moments almost done... than off to the bat and ball... I added some more weight to his movments. still have to add some head, hand movements, but the rest is almost done.... Set should be fun to build...

Finally figured out how to compress better, so its a much bigger playblast. can really see whats going on.

I think its in divx codec

Hi there,

Really nice so far!!!

Nice gag!

Questions for you to ponder re his attitude

Is this his last strike or his 'homerunning' first

How much does he weigh

how masculine/feminie is he....(an interesting play on his physical appearance juxtiposed with a world weary cross dressing wimpy dweeb mentality could be funny.

How does he relate to his peers>
Is he pushed from his peers (out of screen off to the right) into frame as if to say go on you..........

If there were wind blowing which way would it be coming from and how much. Would he be effected (I could imagine 2 thirds or the gag being getting to the batting position into the wind, only to be hit in the face by the ball)

I hope this is helpful

Great stuff, looking forward to seeing more

Hey kurt, this is looking amazing! One thing though that just doesnt work for me is that overhead painting you have on the wood. Like, the red that you have looks like it was edited in paint.. i realise thats kinda the effect you want.. but you want more of a bloodish, spraypainted look right? Anyways, i would just play around with the red, maybe add a dark and a bit lighter red and play with them together. Anyways, its looking great.. and I cant wait to see this animation!
