Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

kurt - what i dont understand yet. you mentioned that you added green incalandecence to the skin for realistic look. do i miss something or is that effect too slight to notice? does it has to do with softening shadows?

Nope incandence, is just to add a under tone in a sence to the base color you applied. Same with ambient color. If you think of skin it's not just pink and orange it has tones of blue, red and green.... I added a fractal just to break up the green a bit and to give the skin a little bit of a vein look...

Im still not that good at it but i've seen some awsome skins done that way..... I could have just took pictures of my face from a few different angles and use that but I want to get good at painting and making my own before I take the easier way out...
