hi.. i'm new here and i've hit a roadblock with my character.... i want to texture some realistic hair for her without using paint FX... can you guys please help me out.... my email is the_core33@hotmail.com... if you are experienced at modelling and texturing hair then can you please add me to your msn and help me out... or just post a detailed tut for me if that's possible... thanks user added image

just in case you were curious... i tried to use strips and it didn't come out right....i unwrapped a strand and took it into photoshop, took the map back into maya and it always turned out to be too thin when when i applied it even though the entire unwrapped strand had hair on it.... if you guys can help me, i'd really appreciate it.. peace

ps: can one of u lend me a good hair texture too user added image
