This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Money Matters....

I'm a professional 2D Animators for more than 10 years and the pay is lucrative until recently, less and less of 2D projects has me thinking into switching to 3D. I'm learning Maya at my own pace with much emphasis on Character Animation.
The $$ question is: What are the payments scheme for 3D Animation?? Is it in per footage? Per second or what? How much?
Is it true that 3D Character Animators rates are more than us, 2D animators??

Thanks

I would imagine it would depend on the studio and whether you are a full employee, a contractor, or a freelancer.

I'm in the game industry, and not in features or television, so I really do not know exacts when it comes to figures.

Good luck!
