spin quad?

hi there! im maya newbie. im doing my first poly model now (a head)...

i got a problem. i want to spin the edge connecting two polys so after it it joins opposite vertices. is there any mel script for it? im on os x - maya 5.

here is a little illustration to help u understand what i mean.

there is a object in which i got two polygons side by side. and i want to spin the edge which is connecting both polys.

anyway ive found workaround. delete both polys. fill the hole and use connect vertices from mjPolyTools.

prepare for my posts in the wip zone... MUAHAHAHH! user added image))

Isn't this a Lightwave feature? I thought I saw a script for Maya somewhere, try the MEL scripts section of www.highend3d.com maybe. Not sure.

yeah, the quickest way I would know to do that is to merge the top vertex to the left corner, bottom to the right.
