I seem to have configured my firewall in a too draconian seting, now i cant see the f1 help. i could in the install before the HDD self destruction, so there must be something configurable that i should allow in order to see the help, but i cant figure what... any ideas?

Auto-response: if you just installed your firewall and you just cant look mayas f1 help remember that you have to enable java look at least on port 4444 (what has to do java with that youd say? well me too... but it seems to be essential for the help server...)

Maya's help menu uses Java to search it database, I believe. Whenever I use the SEARCH function in the help menu I get a window that pops up saying that a Java Script may prevent the page from working properly, blah blah blah... Since it's an online database, you'll need to enable Java.
