This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
The only thing you really need is more RAM. I would go for a minimum of 512 MB RAM (more is always better). You can upgrade your video card if you want, but that depends on what you currently have.
Like danny said, Ram is one of the most curicial things right now for you to upgrade.... I had 512 on my old PC and I found myself running out of it a lot of times... now with a Gig it's a lot better!
I concur. Aside from Ram, perhaps a 128 bit video card, but not necessarily required... pretty much the best computer you can afford is the oneyou should get.
i got 256 of RAMBUS 800Mghz memory... and the price is killing me,.. can't come up with the money to upgrade... (my board does not support any other ram... )
