This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

I don't have a scanner, or else I would display my idea here, so I'll just explain what it is.
It's going to be a small cellar with an empty cage in the corner. I'll be adding some objects to make it look really forgotten.

Here's more progress. I added a pipe on the wall by using paint effects. I'm thinking it should be a duct instead though. This isn't what the lighting will be like, though. I'm going to aim for something much darker.
(The Maya Mountain's actually talking to me!)
Thanks Mtmckinley. Added some more stuff. Rearranged the baskets and put a knocked-over chair there. Added 2 bookcases.

How about putting a corpse somewhere?(I was about to suggest you to place a skeleton in the cage, but modeling one is way too hard)And better, making the room smaller!!

I think the stairs may need to be slightly smaller. Itll make the cage look bigger, and the chair looks too small to me. Other than that I agree with everyone else, great start.
Total Rookie: Yes after you posted that, I noticed it too. It did look a little spacious. I decreased the size of the room and made it look more cluttered.
Phynix: I agree, the stairs were a little big. I decreased the size and brought it nearer the cage slightly. As for the chair, it looks a little small because of its angle. I'll move it around, though.
