Hey I want a High Def camera, but.. in the video it says its not Hi-def.. but is there really a big difference? Its 1920 - 1080 but what is Hi-def exactly? and in this price range what other cameras do u guys say I should buy?

i dont know anything about camcorders but 1920x1080 is 108p as far as i know wich is high def
