This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
hello. i have created nDynamics emitter but i can't find out, how to change the color of emitted particles. i've looked through every node and tried to change colors where i could find them, but particles stay black.
What are you emmitting clouds, points other, the default shader for particals is the one you see in the hypershade called (particalCloud). Is it rendering them in maya render or is the problem mental ray.............dave
so. when i figured out right, the problem was that some shaders from other objects in the scene were connected to the particle clouds. i deleted the connection, created new particle material, attached it to emitting clouds, but now there's nothing when i'm rendering the picture.
