This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
I have to create a bra for a scene where the actress is topless so that the scene can be shown on TV.
I figure SubD's or NURBS might be the best approach. My main concern is where I connect the two cups of the bra at the center. What's the best way to create a small bridge to connect the two cups together?
I would use nurbs for the basic shapes then once you got the shapes covert to polys attach everything together and add what ever detail you need ( smooth for one peice of geometry).. and would just have middle part look like a clip... Maybe find a real bra and take a look at the clips that would help you decide the best way of modeling it.
