Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.
Ah the famous 92,000 poly model. A little hi res for a model such as this. My hi res characters dont even exceed this poly count. I'd really have a look at where you can optimize the mesh. Post a wire up for some crit on the offending areas.
On your face count its registering 36,633 so where did you get 82k from?
Again still excessive amounts of polys. Alot of which can be terminated into tris. The rifle butt too doesnt need that dense a mesh on the end. The middle part of the rifle is just right, see if you can get the rest to match.
