That's pretty sick! LOL!
I have the 4 disc edition of FOTR and I believe it's an Easter Egg somewhere on the disc. I know I came across it by accident when I was exploring one of the discs....

Just go to scene selection, and choose the last scene, #27 I believe, and use your remote to arrow-down and a "ring" type of glyph will highlight.
Selec that, and yor there with Peter Jackson saying hello as well
