"Permission Denied"

Hey everyone!
I created a maya project folder on my computer and worked a lot on it, the I copied the whole project folder to my friends bigger and stronger computer to render things out, but when I press RENDER, this error comes out
Error: (mental ray) : ...ceimages/dewarped_inside_footage/MVI_9270_dewarped.00045.tif: can't open file for reading (Permission denied). I reasigned all the files and textures (just to be sure. I dont thin k it was really necesarry since I have everything in sourceimages folder)
Is there any special ways to copy correctly project folders from one pc to another?

I could be wrong but it sounds like a permission problem with the computer, try right clicking on the file to see the properties then to security see if his sign on is allowed all access if not sign on as admin.................dave
