Problems/question about lattice deformer

hello!
I made model (polys), and applyed lattice deformer, and using that I changed the shape of that model. Now, I would like to delete lattice, but I would like to keep the shape it is at the moment. But if I delete lattice, model get a shape that it had before I used lattice, which is not what I want.
So,can anybody please tel me how to delete lattice, but still to keep the shape tha lattice made?
I hope you understand the question....
Tnx in advance!

Deleting the history should automatically delete the lattice.

tnx for helping!
I already found a couple of ways. As far I have tryed, the best one is to duplicate the model after you are finished with the lattice. After duplicating, you just delete the original object and lattice. Cool thingy user added image
tnx!
