This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Dont understand :s

hey
im remodlling my bear dude with nurbs cos the poly model was way too dense for my skinning user added image
but nurbs is giving me trouble user added image
im using the loft tool, but at places like the head (with the ears) the curves have to close together cos u nd detail, but at those places, the gaps BETWEEN the 2 curves dips down user added image i cant move them up cos i can only move curves, and the curves are in the right place

here u go, it kinda dips between 2 curves where there are more curves, i nd more curves cos for bits like the thumb and ear i nd lots of CVs

Why donĀ“t you try duplicating some isoparms on those zones and playing with them afterwards ... ?

or raise or lower the curve slightly. it doesn't look like it's "sagging" i looks like one curvre (the one in between the valleys) is off a little.

cant create more isoparms if i wanna keep the model as light as possible
