VIP movie problems

I downloaded a wmv file from the video training VIP and it says an invalid codec and i cant hear any sound and i am on a mac so is there something i can get for free that will do something to convert it to a mov or something mac compatible

all the new ones use divx, so visit divx.com and get the latest codec

i cant seem to find one for mac i have found the preferences but not the divx player??

didvx player is usualy an option to install , so check whats included, if you go to divx.com the install pack will include it. Normaly pos it up on the desktop, however I dont use the divx player since it s crap, bsplayer works best for me, dont know what u have in a mac but conce the codec is installed then a generic player should work.

IIRC, Divx is installed as a QuickTime component, so you can view the movies in QuickTime Player. At least, that's what I do on my Powerbook.
