Lifetime Membership Questions

Hi,

Can someone tell me how the Lifetime Membership works in regards to other areas of Simply 3D World Site?

If I buy a Lifetime membership to Simply Maya this means I no longer have to pay for downloading old and new tutorials right? Also what if I see a tutorial in Simply Photoshop? Can I use my Liftime membership there?

I have looked for info explaining in detail what Lifetime membership covers but haven't found anything so I thought I would post here. Looking forward to hearing something back from whomever can help me out.

As far as i know, you'll only be able to download on the site that lifetime membership was purchased from. Kevin/David/Mike will comfirm though.

Purchasing a Lifetime membership nets you special membership status that gives you access to every tutorial that ever was and ever will be at the site you purchased the membership. You are not able to transfer points to other sites because a lifetime membership is not based on points... just your membership status.

Lifetime Membership

Hi Mike,

One of the reasons I was asking about other portions of the site, is because I read your post regarding the low-poly female model. You stated the texturing portion would be posted in the Simply Photoshop section.. and well that means more money spent after already spending a great deal. Is there any particular reason why that texturing tutorial would not be posted in Simply Maya as well?

Mostly because the texturing is being done with photoshop. Kevin will have to take it from here, as he's the one who writes the rules. user added image

yes mike is correct, a life time membership is only available on that particular site, so any photoshop work is a seperate site issue.

If over 90% of what the tutorial covers is done in photoshop then it would indeed only exist in the photoshop site.

But the applying of the textures would appear on this site

Also while we are on about this we are thinking about a membership where a lifetime member can access all sites and all tutorials, but we are yet to come up with a final figure as the amount of tutorials available would be unrealistic to release for the current cost.

Maybe if you are mainly interested in the poly women and texturing then buy a mnimum amount of points to cover them specific areas

Hope this helps

kevin ..one thing that I think you need to consider is that when I purchased a lifetime membership I already had purchased points which I no longer had after the purchase, at the very least I think those points should be transferable...don't you think ?
If not , a warning that the points will be lost at the purchase screen would be helpful..user added image
