Hello I need help

How do I change the DPI in maya after rendering. when I save as jpg it is in 72 dpi. I want it 300 dpi.

There isno DPI settings in Maya what you need to do is render out larger image. You have to multiple whatever size you want in inches by 300. eg 6x4 picture you will have to render 1800 x 1200 res image in Maya.

thanks. photoshop showed me that its in 72 dpi.

Any other places I get learn maya 5. I am new to maya. I used the paint area, its very interesting. I need 300 dpi. because I want to print.

raraz, when you go to print just have it put it all on the one page and it will become 300dpi. Just be sure to render a big enufe res.

Hello!

I try to model a head, and I have problem using the extrude face tool.
I would like to extrude two faces at the same time (I shift selected them and they are neighbourghs), but when I extrude them, they act like two different face not like one. I mean I know that they are seperated, but I would like to modify them at the same time.
So when I extrude them, I would like them to behave like they were one face. (I have Maya 5.0)
/I am Hungarian so if there are problems with my English... sorry user added image /

on the modelling menu bar, go to polygons/tool options. make sure keep faces planar and keep faces together are checked
